AquaCheck — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AquaCheck is a pool and hot tub chemical advisor app developed by Lloyd Smith, Jersey, Channel Islands. Contact: lloyd79smith@gmail.com

2. What data we collect

AquaCheck collects no personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no way to identify you.

The only information stored is your pool profiles and test history — and that information is saved locally on your device only, using your browser's or device's built-in storage. It never leaves your phone or computer.

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact details
• Your location
• Any personal data or identifiers
• Advertising identifiers
• Payment details (payments are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we never see your card data)

We use Plausible Analytics to count pageviews and understand basic usage (device type, country, referrer). Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. IP addresses are anonymised.

3. Third-party services

AquaCheck does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools beyond Plausible Analytics as described above.

Payments for the Pro subscription are processed by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). Their privacy policies apply to payment transactions.

4. Children

AquaCheck is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to share, correct, or delete on our end. Removing the app from your device removes all data stored by AquaCheck.

6. Changes to this policy

If we introduce any features that involve data collection in future, this policy will be updated and you will be notified within the app before any data collection begins.
